Notice on the Group Interviews on October 18

The Press Center for the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) will host its first and second group interviews on October 18 (Tuesday) in the Press Conference Hall on the second floor of the Media Center Hotel. Journalists will attend at a sub-venue in the Century Hall on the third floor of the Hotel Nikko New Century Beijing. The schedules are as follows:

The first group interview: 3: 00 p.m., October 18

The spokespersons for the delegations from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, and Jilin will meet the press, introduce the delegations’ study and discussion on the report to the 20th CPC National Congress, and answer questions from journalists. They are:

1.Zhao Lei, member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee

2.Jin Xiangjun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee

The second group interview: 7: 30 p.m., October 18

The spokespersons for the delegations from Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, and Jiangxi will meet the press, introduce the delegations’ study and discussion on the report to the 20th CPC National Congress, and answer questions from journalists. They are:

1.Shen Ying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee, Vice Governor and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial CPC Leadership Group

Notes: Journalists may enter the Hotel Nikko New Century Beijing within 60 minutes before the interviews only after going through security check at the main entrance and presenting their press cards for covering the Congress. Journalists staying at Xiyuan Hotel should take shuttle buses to the Hotel Nikko New Century Beijing with the said press cards. All participants must show negative results of nucleic acid tests taken within 24 hours before the interviews (The nucleic acid test time shown on Beijing Health Kit is 0 or 1 day), and body temperature no higher than 37.3 ℃. All participants must show a green (normal) Travel History Code. Journalists can only attend the events after showing the required health codes and body temperature.
