Notice on Covering the Opening Ceremony of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China

The opening ceremony of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) will be held on October 16, 2022 in the Great Hall of the People. Relevant information is hereby notified as follows:

Ⅰ. Journalists shall take the shuttle buses arranged by the Press Center to the East Gate of the Great Hall of the People. Please present the press cards and cooperate with security check upon entering the venue.

Ⅱ. Journalists and press-photographers can enter the conference venue through Gate No.5 on the second floor of the Great Auditorium, and take seat on the designated area on the second floor.

Ⅲ. The Press Center will provide relevant documents of the 20th CPC National Congress at the southern hallway on the second floor of the Great Hall of the People 10 minutes after the conclusion of the opening ceremony. Journalists can pick up the Congress documents at the reception desk after presenting their press cards.

Ⅳ. China Media Group (CMG) will broadcast live the opening ceremony. The Press Center will provide the live signal of the opening ceremony for free. Press covering the opening ceremony are kindly requested not to bring any live equipment into the venue.

Ⅴ. According to the management policies of the Great Hall of the People, please do not bring any inflammable electrical appliances such as portable charger, or any photographic apparatuses or accessories with retractable function such as selfie stick and tripod head.
